It's Not About the Money

—Unmasking Mammon

During Jesus’ lifetime of ministry, his passion was to teach the people how to understand the heart of His Father concerning every aspect of their lives. Although the people had come to believe, they often carried out their lives in ways that led them into trouble. Sometimes the problem was their own heart while at other times it was the failure to recognize that there was someone out to destroy them and influence the culture around them.

       A. W. Tozer said, “We can know the right words yet never be changed. This is the difference between information and transformation.”

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek to be more and more transformed into His likeness. As a result, we find ourselves following His teaching, worshipping Him, and seeking to please Him all because of the sacrifice He has made for each one of us.

This book is about discipleship. It is about an area of our lives that has significant influence and the potential to take us off course.

After the Faith Decision - All Else is Stewardship

In seeking to serve God's Kingdom, we become His servants - His stewards; of His truth; His Word; our lives; our service; our relationships; our bodies; and His creation. From the moment we answered his call to a life of service in His Kingdom, we began a journey of stewardship. God has entrusted us with the care of His creation and His plan and He intends to entrust us with much more for all eternity. We should be rejoicing in our role as His stewards. And yet, "stewardship" is one of the least loved words in Christendom. Do we really understand the call?

The Registered Resurrection Account

When it comes to savings, we tend to think of it in terms of our immediate needs and our future enjoyment. But what if we take a step back and look at savings from a much higher or longitudinal perspective. This account is something much longer-lasting and not tied to financial markets or taxation systems. It extends beyond the grave, lasting well into eternity. A "Registered Resurrection Account" will help us explore this perspective and learn more. "Registered Resurrection Account" is written by Financial Advisor Tom Lipp with Wisdom with Wealth.

Cultivating Trust by Rebecca Van Noppen

What if trust was the answer to your financial worries—not more money, not a better job, not a larger bank balance, but trust in God? Jesus says that we don’t need to worry about what we will eat, drink, or wear because God knows what we need, and He takes care of us. We just need to trust in God—our Provider, Creator and Friend.
